bioCorneum + plus SPF 30 is a 100% silicone gel that binds to the skin creating a waterproof layer. It is recommended for the treatment of scars resulting from surgery, trauma or burns. It treats and prevents excessive and abnormal scar formation. It is the first line of treatment in the initial management of all scars.
Sun-screening protection is critical to the eventual outcome of any scar as UV exposure influences the wound healing process and may contribute to pigmentation or collagen suppression. This elegant, non-sticky product provides UVA/UVB protection.
